Laughter on the 23rd Floor: one at Wright State and one at SSCC. His productions include roles in
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Fantasticks, Little Shop of Horrors, A Christmas Carol,
Once Upon a Mattress, A Case of Belonging, Murder in the House of Horrors, Up the Down
Staircase, The Female Odd Couple and The Secret Garden. He also previously directed
productions of Help Wanted and The Neglected Husbands' Sewing Club.
Kelly Bohl started his theater career at SSCC in 1990. A protégé of Ed Daniels, he has been
participating in reader's theater and other productions since he began. He is also a member of the
Gaslight Theater Players in Georgetown. He has also been a participant in the Ohio Renaissance
Festival for nine years.
Nichole Nace is a third year student at SSCC. Her theater experience is limited and includes a few
acting parts in Working and worked as a stage manager for Drop Dead. She enjoys the theater
nearly as much as she does chemistry, which just goes to show how big of a nerd she really is.
Nichole is graduating this June. She hopes to attend UC for a bachelor's degree in chemical
technology, and expects to be showered with many parting gifts. However, in lieu of gifts, she
would gladly accept applause from the audience this evening. Her favorite quote, "If you are not
part of the solution, you are a part of the precipitate."
Steve Anderson is an adjunct faculty member at Southern State. A former student of Ed Daniels,
Steve has appeared in Chapter Two; Bell, Book and Candle; The Fantasticks; Our Town; The Odd
Coulple; My Three Angles; The Mouse that Roared; Twelve Angry Jurors; Oklahoma; One Wild
Night; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Any Number Can Die. He has also performed with
Georgetown's Gaslight Players in Little Shop of Horrors.
Kevin Shull will graduate from Hillsboro High School next Sunday. Previously he has held roles
as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Victor in
Drop Dead. Next year he will study communications at Ohio State University and would someday
like to write and star in his own TV show.
Brittany Hackett is a soon-to-be graduate of Hillsboro High School. She has portrayed many
different characters in the past. Highlights include Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Helen in
The Miracle Worker and Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady. Next year she will begin her college
education at Wright State University.
Ben Cronan is a SSCC student majoring literary arts. His past theater experience includes the role
of Dick Shalit in SSCC's production of Drop Dead. Ever the aspiring writer, Ben's poem "When
you Get to Heaven" received an award in the Book 'n More annual poetry contest in 2002. After he
graduates, Ben hopes to hop a plane to France with Jennifer Connelly, open his own bookstore,
and spend the rest of his days reading Balzac and Verlaine.
Ted Lovett is a veteran performer and director with many credits from Georgetown's Gaslight
Theatre. Last year, he assisted SSCC Theatre with his expertise in lighting. Tonight, he performs
for the first time on SSCC's stage.

Guys and Dolls, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Crucible, Jekyll and Hyde and Parade. In his

singer/songwriter who performs frequently throughout the Wilmington area. He has had classical
voice training as an operatic tenor and has played guitar for nine years. Ben has performed in
various places around the world. Ben would like to thank his parents for their support.
Dawn Cook is an architectural design major in addition to her major in theater. She will be
graduating in the spring of 2005. Dawn has performed in several other plays, including: The
Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Working. Tonight she
plays Tintinablua, a courtesan in the House of Lycus, a role that took much research given Dawn's
natural and virtuous personality.
Beth Nickell. While attending Edward Lee McClain High School she was amazingly active in a
variety of musical events. With age, came college and a lack of free time, and not much time for
the arts. So although this maybe Elizabeth's second year attending SSCC, this is her first musical
experience. Although her enjoyment may lie at the foot of musical theater's curtain, her heart
belongs to children. Thus, she has two more years before she will hold her degree in early
childhood education.
Nicole Villareal has been in several plays/musicals, and hopes to make a career out of this acting
thing... although with the experience gained from this musical, she feels confident she could
become a "courtesan" (her mother is very proud). Being a very flighty person, Nicole is rather
noncommittal to hobbies; right now she is interested in levitation, samurai sword fighting, and kite
making. In August Nicole will be transferring to Northern Kentucky University to major in theatre.
Her plans after graduating from college are a bit sketchy-other than doing whatever is asked of her
to enable her to pursue her dream of acting. The only other definite goal she has is meeting Johnny
Depp, convincing him to leave his family and house in the south of France and marrying her. If
this does not work out, she is willing to lower her standards to Sean Connery (God willing he lives
that long).
Michelle Hawker has participated in many plays and performances. One of these includes Drop
Dead, the last production put on by the SSCC Theatre Department. She is also employed as a
personal trainer at PACE Ladies Fitness in Hillsboro. If you enjoyed the bodies of the Gemini, feel
free to stop by for an intense workout.
Katie Schaad is a senior at Wilmington High School. She has been a member of the WHS Theatre
Program for three years. Most recently, she graced the stage as Marty in Wilmington's production
of Grease. She has also played parts in Candide, Tapestry and Godspell. Katie has participated as a
crew member with many other shows. In addition to theatre, Katie is involved with Wilmingtones,
who recently earned a score of "1" at State Contest.
Christa Perkins is a 2002 graduate of SSCC. She has been a member of the Charade group for
eight years and has appeared in such productions as Our Town, You're a Good Man, Charlie
Brown, Little Shop of Horrors, The Fantasticks, The Christmas Show and countless Robert Frost
Poetry Readings. She is currently enrolled at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
Denise Longsworth, an adjunct in the English Department at SSCC, has performed several
Countrie Towne Players productions including Little Shop of Horrors and Fiddler on the Roof.
She also wrote skits, acted and sang in the troop's Follies. Music and theatre come naturally to
Denise; she dedicates this performance to the memory of her mother, a National Thespian and
musician; and to her father, a Follies alumnus and supportive presence at her performances.
Ryan Cronan is a student at SSCC and is quite adept on the technical side of theater. This is
Ryan's first try as a performer on stage.
Brian Perkins is a long-time veteran of the SSCC stage. He cut his teeth under Ed Daniels in Our
Town, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Story of Santa Clause and the Reader's Theater
production of Robert Frost's Poetry. Other experience includes The Fantasticks. Brian is a senior
staff writer with The Times Gazette. He favorite quote (contrary to his personality) is, "Nice guys
finish last."
Seth Parshall has long been a fan of the theatre. His past experiences have been in numerous
school plays as well as musicals. His studies include both piano and voice. He wished to thank the
SSCC Theatre Department for their fun and innovative productions.
CREW
Sandy Amiott is in her frist year of college here at SSCC. This is the first play with which she
has helped. She is undecided on a major, but she wants to do something useful with her life and
endeavors.
Bob Brown is a graduate of SSCC and the University of Cincinnati where he received his Bachelor
of Arts in Theatre. Bob has been involved with over forty production throughout Southern Ohio
spanning twenty-five years. Bob has worked with excellent directors over the years, including
Daniel Llords and the late Ed Daniels, and only hopes he can live up to their high standards. A
Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is Bob's musical theatre debut.
Amanda Burnett is both an experienced and an inexperienced actress. She has performed improv
at the Ohio Renaissance Festival, but has not done stage acting. This is her second play at SSCC
and she is once again an influential crew member. Amanda is a theater arts major and hopes to
finish with a bachelor's degree at OU.

student at SSCC. His hobbies include billiards, bowling and skateboarding.

He was in a number of productions at Greenfield McClain. He graduated from McClain in 2003. He
is the 19-year-old son of Robin and Greg Garman. He has two brothers, a twin, Adam and an older
brother, Bryce.
Jennifer Penix is attending SSCC and is working toward a transfer degree in psychology. She is
a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Jennifer has been enrolled in theatre classes since last
summer quarter. She developed an interest in acting and decided to become more actively involved
in it... maybe we'll see more of her in future productions.
Cori Yates is an SSCC student majoring in electronic media. Cory has had experience as stage
manager for other college productions as well as designing sound.
