Rainee Angles (Mary Girard) is participating in her fifth production season at SSCC Theatre, but her first as an actor. It has been five
years since Rainee appeared “on the boards” in Hillsboro High School’s production of John Lennon and Me. Other acting experiences
include roles with ACT Theatre and Ohio University; however most of the past fifteen years Rainee has served as director for numerous
productions. “I want to thank my very talented colleague and friend, Bob Brown, for accepting the guest director position this fall. Not
only did this give me the chance to renew my skills as an actor, but the students get the chance to see me practice what I preach.”
Rainee has an M.A. in Theatre, with an emphasis in directing from Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois. She teaches speech and
theatre for SSCC. This is Rainee’s SSCCTHEATRE mainstage debut.
Jason Sharrett (Fury #1) made his SSCC Theatre mainstage debut this past spring as Titus Savage in The Curious Savage. Jason also
played Dr. Regan in a one-act that was part of Wrong Place, Wrong Time. He has been active in theatre for four years.
Ayla Stirnaman (Fury #2) was last seen in SSCC Theatre’s production of Lone Star & Laundry as Elizabeth. She could have also been
seen as She and Nurse Boodie in two of the one-acts that made up Wrong Place, Wrong Time. For SSCC Theatre, Ayla has also worked
on the crews for The Curious Savage and Bloody Poetry. In high school, Ayla could be seen as Gladys Glump, Foibles & Folly; Fiona
Starkweather, Murders in the Heir; Dottie, Salem’s Daughter and as Stanley in Nothing but the Truth.
Jamie McCoy (Fury #3) was previously seen in Wrong Place, Wrong Time playing the characters of Dame Ellen Terry and Darlene
Silverman. Other previous roles include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and as Portia in Cinderella. She also worked on the props crew for
Bloody Poetry. This is Jamie’s SSCCTHEATRE mainstage debut.
Josh Keidel (Fury #4) has previously played the roles of Prince Dauntless, Once Upon a Mattress; Jud, Oklahoma and Oz Man #1 in
The Wizard of Oz. This is Josh’s SSCCTHEATRE mainstage debut.
Joey Haas (Fury #5) returns to SSCC Theatre after last being seen in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Joey, in the past at
Hillsboro High School, could be seen as: Ouiser Boudreaux, Steel Magnolias; Wife 13, The King & I; Abby Brewster, Arsenic and Old
Lace; Sister Sophia, The Sound of Music; Eulalie Shinn, The Music Man and as Sally Kasem in John Lennon & Me.
Caleb Sellman (The Warder) has previously been seen at HHS as Phil in When the Boys Were the Skirts and has made two appearances
in A Night of Improv. This is Caleb’s SSCCTHEATRE mainstage debut.
Bronwyn Jones-Van Frank (Mrs. Lum) was previously seen in The Curious Savage as Dr. Emmett. She could also have been seen as
Golde in Fiddler on the Roof. She was involved with her HHS junior and senior class plays and currently teaches pre-K at Fayetteville,
where she hopes to teach until they say she's too crazy to continue.
Benjamin Gullett (Stephen Girard), before taking a small break, was last seen reprising his role as Doctor Edward Squiggllydickler in
the play which he wrote and directed: Squiggllydickler. Previous to that, Benjamin was seen as: Percy Bysshe Shelley, Bloody Poetry;
part of the three-man team in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged); co-directed and performed in An Evening with
David Ives; Tevye, Fiddler on the Roof; John Proctor, The Crucible; ensemble actor, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change; Rick
Steadman, The Nerd; ensemble actor, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten; Pseudolus, A Funny Thing Happened on the
Way to the Forum; El Gallo, The Fantasticks; Dr. Spivey, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; Max Prince and director of Laughter on the
23rd Floor; Scrooge, A Christmas Carol; the voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, and many more! He has also designed and
created the publicity materials for: Lone Star & Laundry, The Curious Savage, Squiggllydickler, Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Bloody
Poetry, Shakespeare (Abridged), An Evening with David Ives, Theatre ASAP, Fiddler on the Roof and The Crucible. Benjamin can next
be seen as Jacob Marley, and others, in Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol at the Colony Theatre on December 19 & 20. For more

Amy Petzold (Polly Kenton) could last be seen on the SSCC Theatre stage as Kafka in Words, Words, Words and as Grandma Tzeitel in

Mallory Malloy (Mrs. Hatcher) has been participating in theater for the past eight years and has played such roles as: Mary, It’s a
Wonderful Life; Nala, The Lion King; Magic Carpet, Aladdin; Marguerite, Ever After and Daisy in Radio Daze. This is Mallory’s
SSCCTHEATRE mainstage debut.
Lanie Robertson (Playwright) has written such plays as Penny for the Guy, Alfred Stieglitz Loves O’Keefe, Back County Crimes,
Bringing Mother Down, Cannibal’s Waltz, In Separate Chambers, Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill, Last Gas Till Turnpike, Nasty
Little Secrets, Nazi Women, Nobody Lonesome for Me, and The Writers Guild of America, East.
Bob Brown (Director) This is Bob’s third stint as guest director at SSCC Theatre. Previously he directed Drop Dead! and A Funny
Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Bob is a graduate of SSCC and The University of Cincinnati and holds a B.A. in Theatre. As a
performer, he has appeared in over fifty plays throughout Southern Ohio during the past thirty years.
Jon Davidson (Music & Sound Design): Mathematician, author, musician and composer, Jon Davidson joined Southern State
Community College in 1991 as a mathematics professor. Recently he published three math books used in courses at SSCC and is
working on a fourth. He holds a B.S. in applied mathematics from Florida State University, and an M.S. in mathematics from University
of Southern California. As an active amateur musician, Davidson is a little more at home playing clarinet and sax in orchestra pits. For
SSCC Theatre, he composed the score for the productions of Squiggllydickler, Bloody Poetry and The Crucible.
Sarah Williams (Stage Manager) has worked as stage manager on such SSCC Theatre productions as Lone Star & Laundry, The
Curious Savage, Squiggllydickler, Bloody Poetry, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Theatre ASAP and Fiddler
on the Roof. At Hillsboro High School she worked as stage manager on productions of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever; The King & I
and Juvie. She is a SSCC student pursuing a double associate’s degree in Law Enforcement and Corrections.
