Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Southern State Community College production of I Love You, You're
Perfect, Now Change
. This show is a musical revue, consisting of scenes and songs that comment on love and marriage. The
production opened at the Westside Theater Off-Broadway in August of 1996, and has been playing to packed audiences ever since!
The songs by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts are smart, funny, and catchy. Act I covers everything from bad dates to blissful
marriage. Act II focuses on life after marriage ... babies, family road trips, growing old together.

I believe this to be a very intimate show, a show that everyone can relate to on some level. You don't have to intellectualize the
material ... just enjoy observing (or reliving) the journey an average Joe or Jill goes through searching for that special someone.

I have a few personal thanks. Thank you to Mr. David White, the knight and shining armor of musicals. He has been rescuing mine
for some time now! Thank you the SSCC family for your cooperation and support. Thank you to the loyal patrons of theatre. And
the most special thanks of all ... to my husband, Brent ... I love you, you're perfect...

Enjoy the show,
Rainee Angles
