The play I have chosen as my debut directorial piece at SSCC is "near and dear" to me. It is perplexing
that we continually forget to apply these essential lessons to daily life. As Fulghum states, "this (play)
breaks the standard rule that important things are supposed to be hard to understand."
SHARE.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Don't take things that don't belong to you.
If you hurt someone, say you're sorry.
Clean up your own mess.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Hold hands and stick together before you cross the street.
Flush.
Live a balanced life.
Be aware of wonder.
LOOK.
I hope that each audience member is able to SEE a small piece of his or her life represented in the stories
